Trump prepares to designate 'Palestine Action' movement as international terrorist organization
U.S. President Donald Trump plans to designate the UK-based "Palestine Action" movement as an international terrorist organization.
Operativ Media reports that if such a decision is made, the organization will be placed on the same list as groups like Hamas, Al-Qaeda, and ISIS.
In addition, the move would freeze Palestine Action's assets in the U.S., including bank accounts and real estate, and ban Americans from engaging in any business dealings with the organization.
The sanctions will also prohibit providing funds, goods, or services to the organization. Restrictions could also be imposed on the entry of the movement's supporters into the U.S.
Notably, Palestine Action was founded in the UK in 2020 and conducts campaigns against British companies involved in supplying weapons to Israel.
