US President Donald Trump has commented on Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director John Ratcliffe's visit to Moscow.

Operativ Media reports that Trump stated Ratcliffe has a very good relationship with the head of Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergey Naryshkin.

According to him, Ratcliffe meets with his Russian counterpart every six months or once a year.

The US President described the Moscow visit, which took place on August 25, as a routine meeting and expressed surprise at the extensive media coverage of the trip.

“They have a very good relationship. There was no special message, and nothing unusual happened,” Trump emphasized.
