Istanbul to host foreign ministers' meeting on Iran

A meeting of foreign ministers from the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey regarding Iran will be held in Istanbul on August 30.
Operativ Media reports that the meeting was initiated by Germany and Turkey.
The talks will primarily focus on ways to ensure freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and the security situation in the region.
Through this meeting, the participating countries are expected to signal to the United States the importance of continuing negotiations with Iran.
The agenda also includes the situation in the Black Sea and the export of Ukrainian grain.
