Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has emphasized the importance of strengthening diplomacy and developing relations with neighboring countries.

Operativ Media reports that Pezeshkian stated it is essential to devote more time to diplomacy.

The Iranian leader said that striving to build good relations with neighbors is an important principle.

He noted that regional security can be ensured through the joint efforts of the countries:

“Why not ensure regional security together? This is possible through visits, dialogue, and mutual interaction.”

Pezeshkian stated that it is possible to reach an understanding with Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Egypt, Turkmenistan, and other countries.

According to him, the groundwork for this is already in place.

“If we change our perspective, we can easily cooperate with our Muslim brothers,” Pezeshkian emphasized.

The Iranian president noted that speaking from a position of strength could prompt the other side to take the same stance.

“But if we want to speak from a position of strength, the other side will also say, 'I have strength too,'” he added.

Finally, Pezeshkian called on the countries to work together to ensure stability in the region:

“We must join hands and calm the region.”
