Operativ Media reports that the Azerbaijani head of state extended his congratulations on the successful holding of the first elections to the Kurultai, the new parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noting that this was another demonstration of the Kazakh people's support for the large-scale reforms carried out in the country under the leadership of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The Kazakh President expressed his gratitude for the congratulatory letter sent by the Azerbaijani head of state and for the active participation of Azerbaijani observers in these elections.

During the meeting, the sides noted the successful development of strategic partnership and alliance relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, emphasizing the importance of high-level mutual visits and contacts in deepening relations. Transport and logistics issues were discussed, the importance of the Middle Corridor was highlighted, and views were exchanged on the prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in this direction.

The heads of state also touched upon the upcoming summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) to be held in Baku.

During the conversation, future contacts and other issues of mutual interest were discussed.
