Sabah has strengthened its squad with a new player.

Operativ Media reports, citing the club's press service, that Brazilian midfielder Du Queiroz has been signed on loan from Russian club Zenit. Under the agreement, the 26-year-old player will play for Sabah until the end of the current season. The "Owls" have the option to sign the player permanently after the loan period expires. 

During his career, Du Queiroz has played for Brazil's Corinthians (2021–2023), Gremio (2024), and Sport Recife (2025), as well as Russia's Zenit (2023–2024) and Orenburg (2025–2026).
