French national team midfielder Youssouf Fofana has joined Sevilla on loan from Milan.

Operativ Media reports that the 27-year-old player's contract with the Spanish club is for one season and does not include an option to buy.

Fofana's contract with Milan runs until 2028. The Transfermarkt portal estimates the French player's current market value at €23 million.

The midfielder has not yet made an appearance this season. He has played 25 matches for the French national team during his career.

Sevilla have also announced the transfers of Belgian forward Lucas Stassin from Saint-Étienne and Portuguese winger Félix Correia from Lille. Both players have been signed on loan with an option to buy.
