Hull City complete 5 transfers on final day

Hull City, owned by Turkish businessman Acun Ilicali, signed five players in the final hours of the English Premier League's summer transfer window.

Operativ Media reports that this brings the number of transfers completed by the club during the summer transfer window to 18.

Hull City first announced the signing of Tim Iroegbunam from Everton. A five-year contract was signed with the 23-year-old midfielder.

An agreement was then reached with right-back Brooke Norton-Cuffy. The player, who previously played in the academies of Arsenal and Chelsea, most recently played for Italian club Genoa. A five-year contract was also signed with him.

The club strengthened its attack with Roma player Robinho Vaz. The 22-year-old forward from the Italian Serie A side has been signed on loan until the end of the season with an option to buy.

Hull City signed Sorba Thomas from Stoke City for the winger position. A four-year contract was signed with the experienced player.

The club's final transfer of the summer window was Christos Mouzakitis. A five-year contract was signed with the young midfielder, who joined the team from Olympiacos. Mouzakitis was named the young player of the year in Greece for the 2024/25 season.
