Luka Modric, a former Real Madrid player who currently plays for Milan, has expressed confidence that Cristiano Ronaldo will reach the milestone of 1,000 career goals.

Operativ Media reports that the 41-year-old Portuguese currently plays for Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr and has 978 goals to his name.

Modric noted that Ronaldo continues to perform at a high level and gives his all in every match. He also mentioned having a special bond with the Portuguese forward due to the success they shared at Real Madrid.

"Ronaldo is an incredible player. I have no doubt he will reach 1,000 goals. He has at least another year ahead of him, and I am sure he will achieve this milestone," Modric said.

The Croatian midfielder added that he does not know how long Ronaldo intends to play, but even if he plays until he is 50, he will keep scoring.

Modric also highlighted Ronaldo's unique goal-scoring ability, character, self-confidence, and belief in his own potential.
