Operativ Media reports that Sabah's right-back Tellur Mutallimov said this in a statement to Euronews.

He stated that he approaches the upcoming matches with responsibility and focus rather than anxiety.

“Playing against clubs of this level gives me a sense of responsibility and extra motivation rather than anxiety. We have already put the celebrations behind us. Now is the time to focus all our attention on the upcoming important and difficult matches,” Mutallimov told Euronews.

The footballer thanked the fans who supported the team during away matches in the Champions League qualifying rounds.

“Even though we played our matches in countries like Denmark, England, Finland, and Romania, we never felt alone. We are grateful to our compatriots living abroad who came to the stadiums to support us during those matches,” he noted.

One of head coach Valdas Dambrauskas's assistants is 37-year-old Italian Valerio Zuddas. Having worked in 10 countries, the specialist is responsible for the team's defensive organization and analyzing European opponents.

In a statement to Euronews, Zuddas said that the greatest satisfaction for the coaching staff is the players adopting and believing in the team's principles.

According to him, the players sometimes find solutions themselves that fit the team's playing structure. Zuddas noted that a high level of tactical understanding allows the coaching staff to use various strategies and tactical options, thereby increasing the team's competitiveness.
