Como head coach Cesc Fabregas has been named the best coach of the Italian Serie A for the 2025/26 season.

Operativ Media reports that the 39-year-old Spanish specialist was awarded this prize based on the results of a vote held by the Italian Footballers' Association (AIC). The winners were determined by a vote among the players. The award ceremony took place on Tuesday at Milan's La Scala theatre.

Fabregas, who has been in charge of Como since 2024, guided the team to 4th place in Serie A last season with 71 points. The club qualified for the UEFA Champions League for the first time in its history.

Inter defender Federico Dimarco was named Player of the Season. Inter was also named Club of the Season.

Como midfielder Nico Paz was named Young Player of the Season, while Juventus player Francisco Conceição scored the best goal.
