Azerbaijani footballer Can Hajiyev has signed a contract with Turkish club Galatasaray.

Operativ Media reports that the 17-year-old player will feature for the Istanbul club's U-19 team over the next two seasons. The team will compete in the UEFA Youth League.

Hajiyev spent last season with the youth team of Swiss club Sion.

Standing 1.87 meters tall, the footballer can play as both a right-back and a center-back.

Notably, the football federations of Turkey and Kazakhstan are already showing interest in Hajiyev.
