Al-Ittihad has signed Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum to a contract running until June 30, 2027.

Operativ Media reports that the 35-year-old player joined the Saudi Arabian club as a free agent. Wijnaldum's last club was Al-Ettifaq, where he played until the summer of 2026.

The Dutch midfielder scored 17 goals and provided six assists in 34 matches for Al-Ettifaq during the 2025/26 season.

Over his career, Wijnaldum has also played for Roma, PSG, Liverpool, Newcastle, PSV, and Feyenoord.

The Transfermarkt portal values the former Dutch international at €2.2 million.
