Sabah has signed 24-year-old Brazilian forward Carlos Eduardo on loan from Portuguese club Gil Vicente.

Operativ Media reports, citing the publication Record, that the contract will run until the end of the 2026/27 season and includes an option to purchase the player's transfer rights.

Gil Vicente extended Eduardo's contract until 2029 before loaning him to the Baku club. No initial loan fee is involved.

According to reports, Gil Vicente could earn approximately €500,000 if Sabah exercises the purchase option in the contract.

Carlos Eduardo has been playing in Portugal since the 2020/21 season. He has also played for Nacional, Maritimo, and Felgueiras.

The Brazilian forward moved to Gil Vicente in January 2025. His current market value on Transfermarkt is estimated at €500,000.

Notably, Sabah will make its debut in the league phase of the UEFA Champions League this season.
