Inter Miami forward Lionel Messi is set to become the new owner of Spanish club Eldense.

Operativ Media reports that insider Fabrizio Romano has shared this information. It is reported that the 39-year-old Argentine footballer will acquire 100 percent of the Spanish club's shares.

According to Marca, Eldense was previously acquired by an international investment group led by Colombian businessman Juan Carlos Trujillo. Trujillo purchased the club from Pascual Perez in October 2025.

Notably, Messi also became the owner of Cornella, a club playing in Spain's fourth division, in the spring of this year.

Eldense currently sits 20th in the Spanish Segunda table after four rounds.
