Apple has announced the pricing for its newly unveiled iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models.

Operativ Media reports that the starting price for the 256 GB version of the iPhone 18 Pro in the US will be $1,199.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 18 Pro Max with 256 GB of storage will start at $1,299.

Consequently, the starting price for both new Pro models has increased by $100 compared to the previous generation.

Apple announced that pre-orders for the new smartphones will begin on September 12, with the devices hitting the market on September 18.

The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max feature a new 2-nanometer A20 Pro processor, a 48-megapixel main camera with a variable aperture, an improved cooling system, and longer battery life.

According to Apple, the iPhone 18 Pro offers up to 36 hours of video playback, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max provides up to 45 hours.

Operativ Media reports that the new smartphones will be available in four colors: black, silver, light blue, and burgundy. 

The smartphones are equipped with an updated camera system, a more powerful processor, and a range of new features.

A cherry color has been introduced as the new signature color option for the Pro series.

During the presentation, details were also shared about Siri's previously announced new artificial intelligence capabilities. 

It was noted that Siri will be able to perform various tasks sequentially across different applications, including third-party programs. 

These capabilities are reported to cover more than 250 applications.

During the company's presentation, it was stated that the performance of the iPhone 18 Pro has increased by 40 percent compared to the previous generation, and has doubled compared to the iPhone 16 Pro.
