A landmine explosion has occurred in the liberated Jamillar village of the Shusha district.

Operativ Media reports that this was announced in a joint statement by the press services of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Internal Affairs, Prosecutor General's Office, and Mine Action Agency.

According to the statement, a vehicle driven by Baku resident Bakhtiyar Mirza oglu Bayramov, born in 1979, hit an anti-tank mine in an uncleared area on the former line of contact. He sustained various injuries in the incident.

An investigation into the incident is underway at the Shusha District Prosecutor's Office.

"ANAMA, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Prosecutor General's Office once again urge citizens to follow safety rules, pay close attention to mine warning signs, avoid touching suspicious objects, refrain from entering unfamiliar areas, and not breach fenced zones," the statement said.
