Six crew members have been killed after a Tu-95 strategic bomber crashed in Russia's Amur region.

Operativ Media reports that the Russian Ministry of Defense has released information on the incident.

The aircraft reportedly crashed in an uninhabited area during a training flight. One crew member has been hospitalized.

According to the report, there was no ammunition on board. A commission from the Russian Aerospace Forces has been dispatched to the crash site.
