High-level mutual visits play an important role in the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Slovakia.

Operativ Media  reports that Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova said this at an official reception held on the occasion of the National Day of Slovakia.

She noted that the official visits of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Slovakia and Slovak President Peter Pellegrini to Azerbaijan have made a significant contribution to the development of relations between the two countries.

Gafarova emphasized the importance of further developing relations and mutual communication between the peoples of the two countries.

The Speaker of the Milli Majlis also noted the development of interparliamentary relations between Azerbaijan and Slovakia.
