FIFA President Gianni Infantino has shared a post about his visit to Baku.

Operativ Media reports that he shared a video on his personal Instagram  account.

The FIFA president noted that he held productive meetings in Baku and discussed preparations for the inaugural FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival.

According to him, the tournament will be one of the world's largest football events, bringing together 190 countries.

During his meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Infantino exchanged views on next month's FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival, as well as the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup, which will be co-hosted with Uzbekistan.

The FIFA president, along with Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan President Rovshan Najaf, also visited the venue where the FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival will be held.

It was reported that approximately 1,000 matches will be played across 10 football pitches, bringing together 4,000 children as part of the event.
