The Milli Majlis has approved the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on the mutual exemption from visa requirements for holders of ordinary passports."

Operativ Media  reports that the corresponding bill was included in the agenda of today's first meeting of the parliament's autumn session.

Under the draft law, Azerbaijani citizens will be able to stay in Jordan visa-free for 90 days.

The "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on the mutual exemption from visa requirements for holders of ordinary passports," signed in Baku on July 8, 2026, was put to a vote after discussions and approved in a single reading.
