Cristiano Ronaldo has left the Portugal national team camp and will travel to Madrid by private jet.

Operativ Media reports, citing Marca, that the team captain left the camp following statements by head coach Jorge Jesus regarding his participation in the matches against Norway and Denmark.

According to the report, Ronaldo left the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen in a black minibus belonging to the Portuguese Football Federation. He has reportedly ended his UEFA Nations League break early.

Jorge Jesus had previously announced that Ronaldo had no issues during training. He stated that the player trained individually the day before and would train with the team today.

The head coach also confirmed that he met with Ronaldo, emphasizing that squad selection decisions rest solely with him.

Jesus stated that Ronaldo could be brought onto the pitch during the match if needed, but no player can influence his decision.

Tensions reportedly escalated after the match against Norway. Ronaldo remained on the bench during the game in Oslo, which ended in a 2-1 victory for Portugal. Jorge Jesus preferred Joao Felix and Goncalo Ramos in the attack, with both players scoring in that match.
