The Ukrainian government estimates the total damage caused to the country as a result of the war with Russia at more than $600 billion.

Operativ Media reports that this was stated by Ukraine's Ambassador to Hungary, Fyodor Shandor.

In an interview with Hungary's InfoRadio station, the diplomat said the total damage has exceeded $600 billion.

According to him, industrial facilities worth more than $60 billion have been destroyed. Damage to transport infrastructure is estimated at $96 billion, while losses in the energy sector exceed $100 billion.

Shandor noted that the scale of the damage is increasing every day.

At the same time, the ambassador maintained that Ukraine has the capability to continue military operations.
