U.S. military forces have bombed a drug-smuggling vessel in the Caribbean Sea, leaving four people dead.

Operativ Media reports, citing U.S. Central Command, that there was confirmed intelligence indicating the vessel's involvement in drug trafficking.

Since last year, the U.S. has been conducting a campaign targeting vessels involved in drug smuggling. During this period, the U.S. military has carried out strikes on several vessels in the Caribbean Sea and the eastern Pacific Ocean, which, according to American sources, have claimed the lives of more than 220 people.
