Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov has met with Lord Anas Sarwar, Minister of State for Trade at the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and co-chair of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission.

Operativ Media reports that Parviz Shahbazov shared this on his X social media account.

According to the post, the meeting discussed issues on the agenda for developing bilateral relations, including opportunities to expand cooperation in energy, trade, investment, transport, digitalization, and other priority areas.

"With over $39 billion in investment, the United Kingdom is Azerbaijan's largest foreign investor and one of its key economic partners," the minister noted in his post.
