Cabinet of Ministers establishes dress code and requirements for teachers
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved dress requirements for educators in state general education institutions.
Operativ Media reports that the document, adopted to implement the relevant presidential decree amending the Law on General Education, aims to establish a professional dress culture and ensure a unified approach in state general education institutions.
According to the document, teachers' attire must not hinder their dynamic work or distract students. At the same time, it should foster a proper attitude among students toward clothing, style, and selecting appropriate attire for different situations.
Educators' clothing and accessories must align with the secular principle of general education, and be clean, neat, simple, professional, and appropriate for the season. Attire and accessories that do not suit the nature of pedagogical activity or the age characteristics of students, or that deviate from the established dress code, are not permitted.
Educators must adhere to these requirements while performing their duties at school, as well as during official and ceremonial events where they represent the school.
During events related to the history, culture, and national-spiritual values of the Azerbaijani people, the use of national costumes or their elements is permitted by decision of the Pedagogical Council.
