Trump says desired deal not yet reached in Iran talks
U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that the potential agreement to resolve the conflict with Iran is not the outcome he desires.
Operativ Media reports that Trump made these remarks while addressing supporters in Texas, where he introduced Steven Witkoff, the U.S. special envoy for peacekeeping missions.
According to the U.S. leader, Witkoff is working on an agreement with Iran and is conducting negotiations successfully. Trump stated that the deal Iran is prepared to offer is not the option he wants.
Trump emphasized that Iran will not obtain nuclear weapons. He noted that Witkoff is a skilled negotiator and that he chose him specifically for these qualities.
The U.S. president also praised Witkoff's efforts, stating that he is doing a good job in the negotiation process.
