The 3rd meeting of the Ministers of Justice of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held on October 7, 2026, in Istanbul, Republic of Türkiye.

The meeting was chaired by Turkish Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek.  It was also attended by Azerbaijani Minister of Justice Farid Ahmadov, Kyrgyz Minister of Justice Almaz Ayylchiev, Uzbek Minister of Justice Akbar Tashkulov, Kazakh Deputy Minister of Justice Botagoz Zhakselekova, and OTS Secretary General Kubanychbek Omuraliev.

In his speech, the OTS Secretary General emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation among the ministries of justice of the OTS member states.

The participants exchanged views on the outcomes and follow-up measures of the 1st and 2nd meetings of the Ministers of Justice, and shared information on bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the respective ministries.

At the end of the meeting, the ministers signed the Joint Communiqué of the 3rd Meeting of Ministers of Justice, which outlines specific areas and priorities for future cooperation.

The ministers agreed to convene the 4th Meeting of the OTS Ministers of Justice in the Kyrgyz Republic in 2027.
