Arsenal set to renew Declan Rice's contract
Arsenal is close to signing a new contract with midfielder Declan Rice.
Operativ Media reports, citing journalist Fabrizio Romano. Head coach Mikel Arteta is said to be personally interested in keeping the 27-year-old at the club, and Rice is also keen to stay. The parties are currently negotiating the final details of the new deal.
Declan Rice has been playing for Arsenal since the summer of 2023. His current contract runs until the summer of 2028.
Rice has made five appearances in the English Premier League during the 2026/27 season, providing two assists.
The Transfermarkt portal values the 27-year-old midfielder at €120 million.
Arsenal currently sits second in the Premier League table with 12 points, while leaders Manchester City have 15 points.
