Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has become the world's highest-paid football manager following his new contract.
Operativ Media reports, citing La Vanguardia. The 44-year-old Spanish specialist will now earn approximately 26 million euros annually at the London club. His previous salary was 17.3 million euros per season.
Al-Hilal head coach Simone Inzaghi ranks second on the list of highest-paid managers, with the Italian specialist earning 25.7 million euros annually. Atletico manager Diego Simeone sits in third place with 23.2 million euros.
Arteta's new contract with Arsenal will run until 2030. He has been in charge of the London side since December 2019. Under his leadership, the team became English champions in the 2025/2026 season.
