Getafe is interested in signing former Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos.

Operativ Media reports that club president Angel Torres told publication AS that talks are ongoing regarding the potential transfer of the 40-year-old footballer.

According to Torres, Ramos's brother and agent discussed the matter with him. The club chief noted that the Spanish defender is on their shortlist of potential transfers and that a move is possible.

However, Torres emphasized that head coach Jose Bordalas prioritizes strengthening the attacking wings. The manager already has six experienced center-backs at his disposal.

Ramos's last club was Mexico's Monterrey, which he left in January 2026. Throughout his career, the Spanish footballer has played for Real Madrid, Sevilla, and PSG.

It should be noted that former Real Madrid captain Dani Carvajal is also part of Getafe's squad.
