The official store of the Marseille football club located on La Canebière street has been looted. As a result of the financial damage caused by the incident, the store's operations have been temporarily suspended.

Operativ Media reports that this was announced by the press service of the French club.

Condemning the incident, the club stated that violence and looting are unacceptable. It noted that the store suffered severe material damage and has been temporarily closed to visitors for this reason.

However, fans can still visit the club's other official stores in the city.

It should be noted that on October 17, mass protests were held in Paris and other French cities against rising fuel prices and declining purchasing power. According to media reports, between 500,000 and 800,000 people took part in the demonstrations.
