Ruben Amorim achieves rare milestone in AC Milan history

AC Milan head coach Ruben Amorim has become only the third manager in the club's history to remain unbeaten in his first seven Serie A matches.

Operativ Media reports, citing statistics platform Opta, that under the Portuguese manager, the Milan side has recorded 4 wins and 3 draws.

Amorim matched the feat achieved by Luis Carniglia in 1963. Back in 1955, under Hector Puricelli, the team recorded 3 wins and 4 draws in their opening seven matches.

Notably, Ruben Amorim was appointed AC Milan head coach in June 2026, replacing Massimiliano Allegri. He left Manchester United in January.

With 15 points from 7 rounds, AC Milan currently sit fourth in the Italian league standings.
