Dani Olmo to miss El Clasico

Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo will miss the upcoming La Liga Round 10 match against Real Madrid due to an injury.

Operativ Media reports, citing Mundo Deportivo. The exact date of the player's return to action will be determined following further medical examinations.

The 28-year-old Spaniard picked up the injury during the UEFA Champions League main stage Round 3 match against PSG (2:4). He was substituted in the 27th minute, with Fermin Lopez coming on to replace him.

Barcelona lead the Spanish championship with 27 points from 9 matches, while Real Madrid sit in third place with 21 points.

The match between the two teams will take place on October 25 in Barcelona.
