Two teenagers detained in Georgia for planning armed attack on school

Two teenagers suspected of planning an armed attack on a school in Tbilisi have been detained in Georgia.

Operativ Media reports that this was announced by the Prosecutor General's Office of Georgia.

According to the statement, the teenagers met on social media in April and May and intended to cause chaos at the school and inflict injuries on people there.

They have been charged with preparing group actions involving violence, destruction of property, and the use of weapons. The suspects face six to nine years in prison.
