A landmine explosion has occurred in the Kalbajar district.

Operativ Media reports that the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General's Office, and the Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) issued a joint statement.

It was reported that the landmine explosion took place in the village of Sariyel in the liberated Kalbajar district.

Kamran Shukur oglu Suleymanov, born in 1953 and a resident of Qaynaq village in the Tartar district, was injured as a result of the landmine blast while grazing cattle in an uncleared area.

An investigation into the incident is being conducted by the Kalbajar District Prosecutor's Office.

ANAMA, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Prosecutor General's Office once again urge citizens to comply with safety regulations, pay strict attention to mine hazard signs, refrain from touching suspicious objects, stay out of unfamiliar areas, and avoid entering fenced-off sites!
