40% Real Growth Expected in Tourism – New State Program
Azerbaijan's tourism revenues are projected to double, reaching 6.3 billion manats.
Operativ Media reports that ambitious economic growth targets have been outlined in the State Program for Tourism Development in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026–2030.

Through the implementation of the program, foreign tourist spending in the country is planned to nearly double to 6.3 billion manats by 2030.
According to the document, the tourism sector's share of non-oil-and-gas GDP will rise to 8.6 percent. In addition, gross value added in tourism-characteristic industries is projected to increase from the 2025 baseline of 6.9 billion manats to 12.1 billion manats, representing a real growth of nearly 40 percent.
