President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic on a working visit on August 31 to attend the events of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).

Operativ Media reports that a guard of honor was lined up in honor of the head of state at the Manas International Airport.

President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were welcomed by Adilbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Head of the Presidential Administration.

Operativ Media reports that the next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation member states and the Summit in the "SCO Plus" format will be held in Bishkek tomorrow.

The list of country leaders participating in the event includes the leaders of Azerbaijan, Turkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Mongolia, Belarus, Iran, Armenia, Russia, India, China, and others.
