Under the educational cooperation between Azerbaijan and Latvia, 10 Azerbaijani citizens will study in Latvia on scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Operativ Media reports that the State Agency for Science and Higher Education has released information on the matter.

According to the agency, based on the final decision of the Republic of Latvia, the 10 scholarship recipients have earned the right to study at various levels at Riga Stradiņš University, Riga Technical University, the University of Latvia, Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, the Transport and Telecommunication Institute, Turība University, and other higher education institutions in the country.

Notably, Azerbaijan ranks among the top five countries for the number of scholarship recipients among the 22 nations participating in the Latvian government's scholarship program.
