Juventus forward Jonathan David is close to joining Spanish club Atletico Madrid.

According to the report, the Madrid-based club is signing the 26-year-old Canadian forward on a one-year loan with an option to buy, and will cover half of his salary during this period.

​David joined Juventus as a free agent in the summer of 2025 after his contract with Lille expired. During his tenure with the Turin side, he made 47 appearances across all competitions, scoring eight goals and providing five assists. The Transfermarkt portal values the player at €30 million.
