Liverpool signs Barcola from PSG
French winger Bradley Barcola has officially joined English club Liverpool, signing a long-term contract with the team.
Operativ Media reports, citing insider Fabrizio Romano.
According to the report, Liverpool will pay PSG €117 million for the transfer. With bonuses included, the final fee could rise to €140 million. This move goes down in history as the most expensive sale from the French league to a foreign club. The previous record was set in the summer of 2023, when Neymar was sold to Al-Hilal for €90 million.
The 23-year-old Barcola had been playing for the Paris club since transferring from Lyon in the summer of 2023, registering 39 goals and 37 assists in 152 appearances for the team. With the Parisian side, he won the French championship three times, the national Super Cup, and the Champions League and French Cup twice.
