Barcelona midfielder Lamine Yamal scored twice in the home match against Rayo Vallecano in the third round of the Spanish championship.

Operativ Media reports that the 19-year-old player set a new record by bringing his total goal tally for the Catalan club to 52 across all competitions.

According to data from the MisterChip statistics portal, Yamal, aged 19 years and 49 days, surpassed Raul Gonzalez (19 years and 249 days, Real Madrid) and Fernando Torres (Atletico Madrid, 20 years and 221 days) to become the youngest player to reach the 50-goal milestone.

Notably, the young player, who has been with Barcelona since July 2023, has scored 24 goals and provided 14 assists in 45 appearances during the 2025/2026 season.
