Germany national team head coach Jurgen Klopp has recorded one of the worst starts in the team's history.

Operativ Media reports, citing Goal, that Germany suffered a 0-1 defeat against Greece in the second round of the Nations League on September 27.

In their first match under Klopp, Germany drew 1-1 with the Netherlands. Consequently, the specialist has become only the third head coach in the national team's history to fail to win either of his first two matches.

Previously, Sepp Herberger (1937) and Helmut Schön (1965) also failed to win their opening two games. However, both of their teams drew both matches to collect two points, whereas Germany has earned just one point from their first two games under Klopp.

Germany will face Serbia in Munich in the third round of the Nations League on October 1.
