"Russia carried out attacks on our regions overnight and into the morning. In Kharkiv, a brutal strike hit a multi-story residential building, partially destroying the second and fourth floors. Kyiv also suffered from drone attacks – residential buildings, communication infrastructure, and gas stations were damaged. A regular cafe was destroyed in the capital, and there was an attempt to set fire to a food market. In the Odesa region, a vessel flying the flag of Palau was targeted. In the Zhytomyr region, an ordinary ice cream factory was damaged. Residential buildings were hit in the Sumy, Rivne, Kharkiv, and Odesa regions. Meanwhile, critical infrastructure facilities were attacked in the Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Khmelnytskyi, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Emergency services are working wherever they are needed."

Operativ Media reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shared this in a post on his X social media account.

According to him, dozens of people are currently reported injured.

"In Kharkiv alone, 28 people were injured, including nine children. Unfortunately, there are also fatalities. In the Kyiv region, two people were killed, one of whom is an Azerbaijani citizen. I offer my condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased.

I thank everyone who does not remain silent about what is happening in Ukraine and who prepares concrete support packages for our country. Clear decisions are needed. Air defense, energy support, and assistance in closing budget deficits – these are the factors that truly strengthen Ukraine today and help our people endure.
