The United States and Iran have established new contacts through intermediaries to resolve the conflict between the two sides.

Operativ Media reports that US President Donald Trump told reporters about this at the White House.

"Yes, they have," he said, without disclosing further details.

Trump added that the US will win the war with Iran "very soon": "From what I understand, we are going to win one way or another. It's all going to end pretty quickly."

The White House leader stated that once the US wins the war, gasoline prices will drop sharply, and oil prices will return to pre-war levels.
