Vinicius: "I will definitely return to my best form"

Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior said he will regain his optimal form following his side's 4-3 victory over Roma in Round 2 of the Champions League league phase.

Operativ Media reports that the Brazilian footballer admitted he is currently going through a difficult period, but expressed confidence that he will soon return to his previous level.

According to a post by Fabrizio Romano on X, Vinicius noted that it is normal to show frustration at being substituted. He stressed that he wants to remain on the pitch for every minute to help the team, though he acknowledged that this is not always possible.

The forward said fellow Real Madrid player Endrick changed the course of the match after coming on and was the best player of the second half. Vinicius added that he was dissatisfied with himself for failing to display his best football.

Real Madrid sits eighth in the standings with 6 points, while Roma ranks 25th with 1 point.
