Italian Serie A club Venezia has announced an agreement with Davide Nicola.
Operativ Media reports, citing the Italian club's press service.
A contract through the end of the 2027/2028 season has been signed with the 53-year-old manager. Nicola replaces Giovanni Stroppa, who was sacked on October 13 following six consecutive defeats at the start of the Serie A campaign.
The Italian specialist's last job was with domestic side Cremonese. He has also previously managed Cagliari, Empoli, Salernitana, Torino, and Genoa.
After six rounds, Venezia sits at the bottom of the Serie A table in 20th place.
