Beckham surpasses Shakira and Justin Bieber in ad revenue for 2026 World Cup

Former England national team captain David Beckham has earned approximately $25 million from advertising deals as part of the 2026 World Cup.

Operativ Media reports that according to the "Mirror" newspaper, the 51-year-old former footballer's earnings surpassed the fees of other celebrities involved in the tournament's events.

For comparison, it was noted that Colombian singer Shakira, who performed at the opening and closing ceremonies of the championship, earned around $20 million, while Canadian artist Justin Bieber, who performed during the halftime of the final match, earned approximately $16 million.

Beckham, who partnered with a series of major brands—specifically "McDonald's", "Walkers", and "Stella Artois"—also made regular appearances at the tournament's matches. The former footballer's earnings were $10.7 million more than the prize money earned by the England national team for finishing third at the World Cup.
