Spanish club Barcelona has signed a contract with German national team forward Karim Adeyemi running until June 30, 2031.

​Operativ Media reports that the 24-year-old footballer joined the Catalan side from Borussia Dortmund. His previous contract with the German club was valid until the end of June 2027.

​Adeyemi, who has been playing for Borussia since 2022, scored 10 goals and provided 6 assists in 39 appearances during the 2025/2026 season. During his career, the forward has also represented Austrian clubs Salzburg and Liefering.

​The "Transfermarkt" portal estimates the German footballer's market value at €40 million. Notably, according to information shared by insider Florian Plettenberg, this transfer cost Barcelona €22 million.
