Pashinyan: Armenia could cooperate with Azerbaijan in energy sector

Armenia could cooperate with Azerbaijan in the energy sector, including the export and import of electricity.

Operativ Media reports, citing Sputnik-Armenia, that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made the statement during a briefing.

According to him, Azerbaijani specialists visited Armenia in September 2025 and January 2026. During the meetings, power transmission lines, railways, pipelines, and other infrastructure matters were discussed in detail.

Pashinyan emphasized that establishing a partnership between the two countries, including the mutual export and import of electricity, is entirely possible.
